SEALPAC UK has further enhanced its end-to-end traysealer and thermoformer production line offering, after becoming the sole UK distributor for Pulsotronic and its industry leading range of detection and quality control solutions.

Pulsotronic, based in Germany, has more than 50 years’ experience within the food industry. The company’s specialist machinery is currently used by thousands of manufacturers across the world, for everything from meat and fish, to dairy and snack products.

For SEALPAC UK, the addition of Pulsotronic to its range of specialist technology partners, cements the company’s full line capability, providing a complete ‘one-stop-shop’ solution for FMCG customers.

Kevin Witheford, managing director at SEALPAC UK, explains: “We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Pulsotronic. The company has a long and successful history behind it and is driven by a great team of engineers, who truly understand the needs of modern manufacturers.

“The machinery itself is high quality and has been developed to perfectly withstand the meat, poultry, fish and dairy factory environment, making it a valuable addition to our SEALPAC UK offering.”

He added: “Our customers are looking for a project managed approach and whole line solution, which is exactly what we can give them, thanks to partnerships such as this one.”

Claas Schweizer, sales account manager at Pulsotronic, said: “We at Pulsotronic Anlagentechnik GmbH are very glad to have found a strong partner, with an excellent reputation within the English and Irish market. Our high-quality, flexible end-of-line solutions perfectly complement SEALPAC UK’s product range and also offers new opportunities for SEALPAC, to be successful in new markets.”

Pulsotronic offers solutions for both quality control and end of line inspection. Its detection equipment can check for any foreign bodies and contaminants, while its weighing belt can identify whether a product is over or under the specifications required.

These solutions support manufacturers to meet their obligations in supplying a product that is safe and in line with all weights and measures regulations. The software also gives customers traceability and can provide valuable insights to help optimise performance and efficiency.

SEALPAC UK, based in Poole, works with manufacturers based across the UK, providing a range of specialist machinery and packaging solutions. The company provides a complete end-to-end solution for customers, with quality machinery, expert training, comprehensive aftercare and innovative supplier partnerships at its core.
